My Simple Low-Tech "Needle Bearing" Trailer Mover

This is a simple way to move a trailer (or any vehicle) sideways on a hard surface. Just roll it up onto a plywood platform placed over a number of dowels or metal rod. Doesn't stick up too high, so its easy to just roll the trailer wheel up on top, then push it sideways. 3/8" or 1/2" ply is plenty thick for a modest trailer load.

Amazingly low friction!!! The first time I tried this, I really bore down and gave the trailer a mighty shove sideways...and nearly sent the rig crashing into the garage wall!! Easy does it...
